Art After Dark – Fluid Musings
Dates & Times
Wednesday, 30 March 2022
5–9 pm
Program
Fluidity calls for metamorphosis and an ability to yield to natural external forces. To muse invites a pause, a moment to reflect on the eternal shape shifting of the mind. Fluid Musings balances the flow with stillness offering a moment to shape and reshape our pool of knowledge, wisdom and understanding.

Campari has collaborated with Sydney musician and composer Megan Alice Clune to bring you Wednesdays Up Late at Galleria Campari. Megan has curated a 13 week program of experimental, ambient and new classical music from both emerging and established Sydney/NSW musicians that will be framed with projections by artist, Carla Zimbler. Join us in Galleria Campari and experience the diverse landscape of Sydney and NSW music alongside mesmerising projections.
Performance by Mara starts at 6.15 pm.
6–6.30 pm – Knowledge Holders (livestream talk) with Slow Research Lab Seeking Radical Affection
This talk invites you to immerse yourself in theory and praxis of ‘Slow’ creativity as Carolyn F. Strauss of Slow Research Lab takes us on a journey through her recently published book, Slow Spatial Reader: Chronicles of Radical Affection (Valiz, 2021). She shares gestures, propositions and stories from artistic fields like sculpture, installation, dramaturgy, and performance, but also architecture, politics and activism that reach into the cracks of the body, probe the fuzzy borders of atmospheres, and extend out across both geographical and epistemological coordinates. The term ‘radical affection’ unites those diverse approaches in a call for tender acts of individual and collective imagination through which new forms of caring, connection, and resilience might emerge.
6.45–7.15 pm – Assembly (performance) with Jazz Money
We are born of water in a world that flows with stories coming and gone. Our bodies are water, and all water is in a circular dialogue with eternity. In this performance, Wiradjuri poet Jazz Money invites you into an immersive storied landscape of water and returning.
